What? Do we have three Reverse Osmosis units on the boat? 

Yes we do! We have it connected to the fresh water tank and a separate tap in the galley for drinking water. This makes us sure that we always have super clean drinking water. 

We are thinking of environment, comfort, weight, wallet and space. Therefore we don't want to buy bottled water. Water from this tap is better than any bottled water we have found.

We avoid the risk of getting sick if we would fill water from a source that is not fresh or we would get something in the tank. 

In addition to this we also have two filters on incoming water from the marina.

Does not Reverse Osmosis waste a lot of water? Yes they do, but for sea water it is rather endless supply when in the ocean.

For the tank water as there is not salt in it we just divert the "waste" back to the tank. So no wasting fresh water.
